CCSU prides itself on the ease and convenience of its transfer policies. To help you transfer to the University, we provide here a simple method to determine which credits will transfer upon your matriculation. Please be aware, however, that the information posted here, while generally accurate, is not official. All equivalencies will be validated upon your acceptance to CCSU. Please consult the online Undergraduate Catalog for transfer policies and additional information. Current CCSU students
Current CCSU students planning to take courses at CT State Community College in Fall 2023 or later should refer to this draft transfer file and submit this form to the Office of the Registrar to receive approval on how your coursework will transfer to CCSU. Connecticut State Community College
Effective Fall 2023: The 12 Connecticut community colleges are merging to create CT State Community College. This website is in the process of being updated to include new CT State Community College transfer equivalencies for coursework completed in Fall 2023 and later. Until this is complete, please refer to this draft transfer file to assist with CT State Community College transfer equivalencies.
New Transfer students to CCSU:
- For courses taken at one of the 12 Connecticut community colleges in Summer 2023 or earlier continue to use this website to determine transfer equivalencies.
- For courses taken at CT State Community College in Fall 2023 and later refer to this draft transfer file for transfer equivalencies.

- First, select the institution from which you wish to transfer credits.
- Using your current institution's catalog, provide the department abbreviation and course number you wish to have considered for transfer equivalency. The search will report all the matching courses that will transfer credit.
CCSU will consider for transfer credit college level courses from regionally accredited institutions. Not all regionally accredited institutions are listed here
For CT Community College courses, please include an asterisk * following the subject code for courses taken after 2004. (e.g. ENG*, MAT*, etc.)
